Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026 · BrainFog LLP

Plain English first: use APIForge to build great things, don't abuse it, and we'll keep making it better. The legalese below is the formal version of that.

01

Acceptance

By creating an account or using APIForge, you agree to these Terms. If you're using APIForge on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email for material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

02

Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't share your API keys. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at security@apiforge.dev.

Accounts are personal. You may not transfer your account to another person without our written consent.

03

Acceptable Use

Use APIForge to document your own APIs or APIs you have permission to document. Don't use it to scrape, reverse-engineer, or document APIs you don't own or have rights to.

Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits, access other users' data, or use the service in any way that could harm other users or our infrastructure.

Don't use APIForge to generate documentation for illegal services or content that violates applicable law.

04

Intellectual Property

The documentation APIForge generates from your code belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your generated docs.

APIForge's software, design, and brand are owned by BrainFog LLP. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our permission.

05

Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee it. We may perform maintenance, which we'll announce in advance where possible.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical and immediately where necessary to protect the service.

06

Limitation of Liability

APIForge is provided "as is." We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

07

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
